    An election (Casual Vacancy Election E2022/238) has recently been completed by the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) for the Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining and Energy Union – Mining and Energy Division – Queensland District Branch. A copy of the post-election report is available on request by contacting the Australian Electoral Commission or the District Office on (07) 3839 8588.
  • Alteration to Rules of the Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining and Energy Union – Mining and Energy Division Queensland District Branch
    The Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining and Energy Union has lodged a notice and declaration with the Fair Work Commission concerning the alteration of the rules of the Construction, Forestry, Maritime Mining and Energy Union, Mining and Energy Division. The alteration amends subrule 8(i) and 8(ii) of the rules of the Queensland District Branch of the Mining and Energy Division.
    The notice, which sets out the particulars of the alteration, was lodged with the Fair Work Commission on 25 January 2023 pursuant to Regulation 126 of the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Regulations 2009.
