An election (Casual Vacancy Election E2022/238) has recently been completed by the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) for the Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining and Energy Union – Mining and Energy Division – Queensland District Branch. The Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining and Energy Union has lodged a notice and declaration with the Fair Work Commission concerning the alteration of the rules of the Construction, Forestry, Maritime Mining and Energy Union, Mining and Energy Division. The alteration amends subrule 8(i) and 8(ii) of the rules of the Queensland District Branch of the Mining and Energy Division.
